Tis the Season

Well, Thanksgiving is over and now we all have to get ready for Christmas and the Holiday Season! Let's see, Christmas is on its way and it is the most expensive holiday of them all due to the commercialization of buying gifts. Where are we as a society: The Economy is close to being the worst it has ever been, unemployment is at an all time high, the automotive industry is a disaster, there is scandal after scandal, foreclosure rates are through the roof and more people this year are without a home and/or a job.

Have we truly forgotten what Christmas is all about? Do our children know the true meaning of Christmas or is it all about getting gifts? I honestly believe that people have forgotten about what the Holidays are all about - what the SPIRIT of Christmas truly means. Instead of being all nestled up in your comfy home, get out there and Donate money and time. The Salvation Army is always looking for donations and people to help them. If you do not worry about money like my wife and I than you should Donate. I don't care if it is your spare change at McDonald's going to the Ronald McDonald House or donations to good causes such as the United Way Campaign annually. Do something to help our country out. Not only will you feel good about doing it but it will come back to you tenfold!

So this holiday season do not just walk by the bell ringers and the donation requests, stop and help out the less fortunate in our country and give the best gifts of all, a SMILE and a kind word! They both take so little time or effort yet go a long way to brighten someone's day who may be having a rough time right now!

Thanksgiving... What do you have to be thankful for?

This will be my only post this week due to the Holiday.

Every year Thanksgiving comes along and my experience has been people look at it as a day off and use it as an excuse to drink and party. Have we honestly forgotten what the holiday is all about? If you talk to children they will tell you all about the history of Thanksgiving. Adults will tell you what they remember and add their special spin on it.

So, this year please take a moment out of your celebration and ask yourself this simple question, "What do I have to be thankful for?" If you answer it with a laundry list of things you are on the right track. If you have to think about it, then you need to work on it. So, be thankful and have a special holiday and please remember all the Soldiers around the world who cannot be with their families on this holiday.

For those who struggle with what you are thankful for I have listed a few of my own to help you out.
I am thankful for:
My family
My health
My friends
My freedom

Happy Thanksgiving!

Stand on the sidelines or take charge

Well, another ski season is coming and its time to get your ski's tuned up, your winter clothes out and start making your plan to hit the slopes. If you are the die hard skier you are going out this weekend and going to hit the slopes on the man made snow. If you are like most skiers you will wait for the real snow to hit. If you get out there early and take charge and hit the mountains early before the real snow comes your winter season is going to be long. Like most people they will wait and let the mountains get real snow and wait for the perfect weather and perfect conditions. If you live your life like that standing on the sidelines waiting for the good things to happen you are in for a rude awakening. Take charge of your life. If there is something you want ask for it, visualize it, act on it and you shall receive. Those are the rules we live our lives by.

Winter = Workout

The days are getting shorter and its getting darker earlier and earlier. People hibernate through the winter only going outside to go to work, and come home from work. The hanging out with the neighbors has to wait for 6 months until the days begin to be long again. Everyone is putting on extra pounds because they lack the energy to be outside or work out. Depression usually hits the hardest due to the long, cold winter months. This is the life of the average person. Now what does our life look like... We ski 2-3 times a week through winter, work out 4-5 days per week, hang out with our neighbors and friends 2-3 times a month. Weight we usually stay the same or lose more do to the outdoor activities that we do all winter long. Just because it is cold out does not mean you have to hibernate and stay inside. If you think its cold outside and you let it get to you guess what you will hibernate through the winter months. Get outside and do something with yourself, whats the worst thing that could happen...... you have fun.

New way of thinking vs the Old Way of thinking... whose right?

If your current way of thinking has brought you to where you are today, and you are not happy with where you are, then it is time to change your way of thinking. I began a new way of thinking about a year ago and since then my life has grown leaps and bounds. It is similar to the change in the seasons when we take out the winter clothes and put away the summer clothes. I call this winterizing. But if you left your summer clothes out year-round you would be cold during the winter. We constantly live in an environment and world where people want things instantaneously. But what happened to waiting? The old saying goes: "The best things come to those who wait." When I was a kid I did not have a cell phone, I did not wear a seat belt, I did not wear a helmet when I rode my bike. So why is it that today kids have to do or "need" all these things that I didn't and all of them now have ADHD, allergies and other issues that we 30-somethings as kids never had? Is the new way of thinking any better than the old way of thinking? Well, let's see just our whole concept of how we live was developed thousands of years and we have just expanded on an old idea. So do we really have new ideas, or are we just using what others came up with and just putting our own spin on it. Who is right?

Winterizing our House and our Life

We spent this past weekend getting our house ready for the winter. We took our outdoor lights down, cut our plants back, started up the snow blower and many other daunting tasks. Every year we get ready for winter the same way. We put away everything that is not snow-proof and we put it in a safe spot so it is there for us in the Spring. Every year we do this! I am sure you do the same things every year when it comes to winterizing your house. So now the weekend is over and we have done everything we could to get ready for winter. Our summer clothes are put away, our winter clothes are out, our summer decorations are put away and our winter decorations are put up. We spent 2 days getting ready for a change in season. Wow, 2 whole days. As I was driving this weekend running errands I saw a lady out at her house like I did last weekend raking up her leaves. For 2 days last weekend and 2 more days this weekend she spent raking leaves. That is a full 4 days she spent raking her leaves. We will never get that time back that we spent Winterizing our House. And we do this every year and for every season. We are losing countless days that we will never get back. What is my point? People go their whole lives Winterizing everything in their lives, but never Winterizing themselves. When was the last time you took care of your financial future or thought ahead to what your future looks like? It was probably a month ago when the stock market fell apart and your 401k lost a ton of money. What are you doing to Winterize (i.e. PROTECT) yourself, your family, and your future to ensure you have many enjoyable days ahead? If you'd like to find out how we can help you "Winterize" your life, please contact us.

Election + Economy = Entrepreneur

Well, we are about 8 days away from finding out who is going to run our country for the next 4 years. If the past 8 years are any indication on who will win I think I will take that bet. This blog is not about politics, it is about life. Right now the country is in a rut over the economy, the housing market, the stock market, inflation, corporate scandals and downsizing. The news only talks about the bad stuff however you hardly ever hear about the good in people. We wonder why our children are overweight, have addictions, and hide in their rooms playing video games. Society right now appears to be at a breaking point. If we change nothing we will continue down this path of reckoning and could end up like any other third world country. Where am I going with this, you ask? It is time for you to seize the moment and take advantage of the opportunity and become an entrepreneur. At the end of the day folks, we control our fate, not our jobs nor the government. People who should be retiring this year have to work for 5-10more years due to the drop in their 401k and money markets. If you do not have multiple sources of income or a stream of income that is recession-proof then I demand that you find one right away. This is going to be your retirement account, your nest egg for you to retire. Your actions today will pay you back dividends later. Persistance

Do you want to have a Mercedes Benz? Do you want to own a Rolex? Do you want to own a 5- bedroom house with a hot tub and a pool? Do you want to own your life and control your destiny? Do you want to be your own boss?

What is stopping you? You can have all of this if you set your mind to it and come up with a plan to achieve all of your goals. Too many times people have goals and ideas on what they want but there is no plan of action to obtain them. This is where if you are persistant in achieving these goals and manifest the results in your mind ahead of time, you can and will obtain them.

It is ok to think outside of the box, or think differently from your family. Most of the time in life we do not achieve a goal because our family or our supposed friends have told us that we cannot do it. Do not let this happen to you. Be persistant in what you want and do not give up. People who succeed have done so because they were persistent and not afraid to fail along the way to reaching their goals.

Back from the Bahamas

Wow, what a trip we had to the Bahamas for the week! We spent time with old friends, created new friends, and we met new business associates as well on this trip. We stayed at the Atlantis - an unbelievable resort, ate incredible food, had perfect weather and the conference - well, that's something difficult to describe in words. What I can say is that it's an experience not to be missed and DEFINITELY worth it! This was a vacation/business trip so the nice thing is that we get to write this whole trip off our taxes along with all the activities we did.
Our conference had 2 speakers 1) Andy Andrews author of "The Travelers Gift" and 2) Dr. Joe Dispenza who was in the movie "What the Bleep do we Know?" These two gentlemen were not "motivational speakers" in the traditional sense at all. They explained and taught us HOW we think is HOW we grow and HOW we change our way of thinking will allow us to grow and achieve all the goals we set for ourselves. It was definitely an eye opener. The conference was 3 days of sessions with our guest speakers and they kept us busy for the entire morning until 12:30pm/1pm and we also had 2 group dinners over a 4-day period. The final evening dinner was a costume party with a theme of "Pirates & Wenches" which was an absolute blast! You will see Val, the Co-founder of our business Brent (on the left), and me all in costumes - another fun way to "step outside the box" and some people's comfort zones but all in fun. Our business is so much fun and inspirational. We still pinch ourselves because of how lucky we feel to be part of such an amazing organization which provides so much support yet also so much power in being financially free. You can be too...just contact us ASAP to find out how this can be your life as well! We look forward to seeing you at our next conference in spectacular Acapulco, Mexico!
Much success to you always!

Atlantis and the Bahamas

Top left picture was our view from the 18th floor of The Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas. What a beautiful place! We got here Saturday morning, took a limo from the airport and arrived at the Atlantis Resort. If you have never been here then you do not know what you are missing. This is a 5-star luxury resort with all the amenities: huge pools, lazy river, white-sand beaches, big drinks, amazing food, and fish to die for. We are down here for our annual conference. We had an amazing speaker today, Andy Andrews who authored the book, "The Travelers Gift." What a great and powerful speaker!

Once, I finish my book, "Think and Grow Rich" by Napolean Hill, I will be reading Andy's book. The weather has been great although there has been a little rain, but who cares? We are in Paradise and a little rain to cool things off is definitely not going to sour our trip! Not sure when we will write again since we are on vacation and business. Take care and remember...Get what you came here for. Rockin' in the Bahamas!!!

Start and Quit

We had another great weekend. We went to a Blues Festival this weekend and looked at the changing leaves of New England which was absolutely beautiful. We also tried some new wines at a local winery. It was nice to enjoy our time outside and get away.

Have you started certain things or projects and never finished them? Everybody does! Do you always fail at your New Year's Resolution? Do you quit your diet? Do you quit all the things that you start?

Well that is the "Start and Quit Syndrome." People who usually do this set higher expectations than they believe they can meet so they actually create a self-fulfilling prophecy. Before they even start they are destined to quit, because that is what they are used to doing.

You need to give yourself little wins if you fit the above criteria. Some people go their whole lives with out finishing anything whether it is their marriage, quitting smoking, losing weight or just finishing that book they keep trying to complete.

So, if you need to start small to have little wins of accomplishment then go ahead and think smaller. Yet know that after many little wins you will be able to think big! So, if you want to be a millionaire, what's stopping you??? Only YOU are!

To find out more on how to complete the tasks that you start contact us on our site.

Lucky vs Successful

Do you think people who have lots of money are lucky? Do you think that people who have been married together for over 40 years are lucky? Do you think people who are successful were just in the right place at the right time?

My brother always tells me I am lucky! I disagree with him and tell him luck has nothing to do with it, I am successful at everything I do. As you will remember, I talked about Mindset in earlier posts. Successful people may be lucky, but we will always tell you that luck has nothing to do with it. I am successful because I know what success is and I know what success looks and feels like. Do you?

Most people do not know what success is because they may have not had any in their life, or they did at one time and attributed it to being lucky. I disagree wholeheartedly with that! Successful people are that way because of working smarter not harder. Remember, Leaders do what others fear to do. Leaders are Successful. "Lucky people" are lottery winners who win millions but lose it usually due to poor judgement. Why do they lose it? It's because they were just lucky and not successful. Successful people do not lose millions, but if they do isn't funny how they all seem to get it back and then some!?!

Focused Dreams

Happy October everyone. I hope your September was as faboulous as ours was!

Do you ever wake up from your dreams and not remember what they were about? Do you dream all night long about nonsense? Do you dream about things you do not want to focus on?

If you answered Yes to all the above questions then you are not having focused dreams.

Can you have focused dreams? Of course you can, you just need to know how. There are many secrets to having focused dreams, but to have dreams that are so focused that they become reality is amazing.

I would like you to try something tonight before you go to bed... I want you to focus on making yourself have a dream tonight. So prior to going to bed, tell yourself that want to have a dream. When you wake up the next morning you will have dreamt about something. It may have been nonesense but now you are telling your body you are taking back control of your dreams. Now how do you take it to the next step? Well that's easy too! Focus on dreaming but tell yourself what you want to dream about. It may not happen to you right away because it does take time to have focused dreams. However, once you start to have focused dreams about the things that you want in your life you will start to see how those dreams turn into reality.

Self help = Self development

Do you go to Home Depot or Lowes all the time and spend money to fix up your house so you can save money and do it yourself? Of course you do, everyone does it. Not everyone does it to save money, but some people actually like to fix things up because it's enjoyable to them.

So when was the last time you took the initiative to Develop yourself? Hmmmm.... that's what I thought. Too often we are so busy with life we do not have the time to improve ourselves nor do we take the time to do it. Whether it is reading a self development book, going to a seminar, or watching a movie, the way the economy is these days everything is up in the air. People are losing money left and right in investments and homes. All the investors say to put your money in a savings account because you will not lose money there. That is true, but we cannot live in fear. It is time that we all find ways to supplement our current income and live a life of freedom and prosperity. I can tell you from experience working for someone is not going to make it happen. You have to Do it Yourself!!

To find out how my wife and I supplement our lives go to our website http://www.bestamazinglife.com/ to find out more. If you're interested, fill out the contact form and we will be in touch within 24-48 hours.

Prosperity

What a great weekend we had. First, we worked around the house on winterizing since we live in NY state. Then we hung out with our neighbors and just had a good time. We went out in our adjoining yards and went deck to deck sharing stories and having cocktails. As I was doing all of this I thought to myself, "What a great life!" Then I said, "No, we live a prosperous life."

Too often people look at the negative and don't think of their lives as prosperous. When I mention prosperity I am talking about being prosperous with family, friends, health, food, and money. It is nice not to lack any of the above but it also feels great to give back. Living in prosperity is not evil. Everyone thinks all too often that if you are well-off you are not a good person or came by your wealth in some scrupulous manner. However, I can tell you that being prosperous in everything makes you a super person. So when you are feeling down, pick your head up and ask yourself where there is PROSPERITY in your life and I can guarentee you will find more that you are happier with than not.

To find out more about living a prosperous life contact us and we will show you how to have prosperity in all areas of your life.

Change

What an awesome week! My blog is taking off and people are finding it helpful. I like the comments so please post more. I love giving back to people, it is one of those rewards I truly enjoy. If this blog helps to change someone's life, then it is worth it. Well, Friday is here and another great weekend is ahead of us. Where are we off to this weekend... well it's the Jersey shore to spend some time with the family.

You're not reading my blog to find out about my weekend, you are tuned in to see how we can help you improve your life. So, our topic today is Change. Remember, we are all programmed from an early age to do certain things and to believe certain ideas. We are usually programmed to think and act like our parents because they are the ones who raised you. The only way to stop doing what you are doing is to change. If you constantly keep doing the same thing over and over and keep getting the same results then you need to make a change in your behavior as well as your mindset. For instance, I know I am not good at drawing, so if I desire nice pictures in my house I have to purchase them.

Change is tough and the older you are the harder it is to make it since we often get set in our ways. But, if you want to be successful you must change your ways of thinking. If you are living a mediocre lifestyle and desire more, you have to ask yourself what actions you are taking to change & bring about different results.

To find out how to change and improve your life contact us and we will help you change and create the wealth & prosperity you want - and deserve- to achieve.

Knowing and Doing

Just because you know what you should do does not mean that you will do it. One of the biggest problems with people is that you can bring them all the information in the world and tell them to do something but if they do not do it they will continue to live in mediocrity. Americans are very stubborn, we will continue to do something even if it makes us miserable. I find it everyday when I talk to people even about the most simplest of things. For instance there jobs most people hate there jobs but will continue to work them because society says have a job. People know what to do but to actually do it means that you are working outside of the norm.

For example, most millionaires work or do something outside of the norm. Most successful people are successful because they did something outside of the norm. So just because you know the answer does not mean anything until you do what the answer says to do. Knowing and Doing are 2 totally different things. Until you do what you know works whether by trying or listening to those who have done it you cannot fail.

Recognize what you have

Do you live in a house or an apartment? Do you have good health? Do you have friends? Do you have clothes to wear? If you have these minimal things than you have a lot. But do you recognize what you have? Do you tell your children you love them? And do you hug them? Do you tell your significant other you care about them? And do you show them? Do you always want better than what you have or do you complain about what you don't have. Remember, we always get what we focus on. So, if you focus on what you do not have...BINGO you will get it every time. So recognize what you do have and appreciate it, because if you do not have it you will miss it.

Wow, that was a brain twister but its true. Have you ever asked for something subconsciously and all of a sudden it came true or it happened the way you thought it would. Well, that is the Law of Attraction. If you think it you can achieve it. To learn more about achieving what you want contact us at our website http://www.bestamazinglife.com/

Mindset

As our journey continues on the way to a better life, there is something we must take a look at and that is mindset. An athlete runs through his mind exactly how he is going to play the game. An actor sees himself on the red carpet before he has been in a movie. Wealthy people see themselves as millionaires before they become one. Mindset is what allows people to reach levels of new height. Mindset is a powerful tool and when utilized properly can reward you with everything you have ever wanted.

If you know you are successful, constantly look in the mirror and see a person full of success, you will become successful. Mindset is the key and the way to stay in tune is to start your day off right. If you wake up every morning and just get ready you will have an uneventful day. But if you get up with purpose and focus on what you want through meditation and focusing on your goals, guess what? You WILL achieve them.

If you would like to learn more about mindset and how to get focused check out our website www.bestamazinglife.com

Mindset is the key to success.

Living in lack

Do you look at prices on menus? Do you check you’re banking account daily? Do you shop around for gas? If you do any of these 3 things or anything similar to them then you most likely live a life in lack. People who have to watch what they spend or worry about paying the bills all the time can guarantee a life of lack. How about trying to live life in a world of abundance, where you do not have to worry about time, money, and where your next meal is coming from? These are just a few ways in which we are programmed to think. The media, the government, even our families have all told us over the years to save, save, save. If you are like us, we have done that as well and gone without only to watch our money be lost in the "market". If you take control of your actions and even more importantly your thoughts and start acting differently, you no longer have to live in lack.

Today, embrace the world and live without restrictions. Go buy the things you want, contribute to your favorite charity... Your choice to live in lack is what is keeping you there. Try to live in a world of abundance.

Goals

Do you have goals? Are they strong? Are they well thought out? Are they wrapped in emotion that you know how you will feel the moment your goal is complete.

In my travels and speaking to people I am amazed how many people do not have goals. Not having a goal is like not having a map or GPS and you ask your self why do I always get lost. People who constantly struggle through life and go in and out of success usually have no goals.

Goals are a driving force that keep us on track of what we want to obtain. Ask your self this question, "Does the company you work for have long term and short term goals?" The obvious answer is yes and the more obvious answer is yes they do and I know what they are. So if you know the goals of the company you work for, then why do you not have any goals for yourself so YOU can be as successful.

Leaders

What makes a good leader? That question is asked all the time or what makes a good leader. Are you born to lead, or is it something that is learned. You can look at all the great leaders that have come through history Caeser, Mother Teresa, General Patton, Teddy Roosevelt, Colin Powell, The Dali Lama, Winston Churchill and the list goes on and on. What do these leaders all have in common? They had a HUGE following. They had people that guided them and listened. Leaders do not know all the answers, they surround themselves with people who do. Now that is a smart leader. So, if you are the smartest person you know, you might be in trouble. Surround yourself with powerful people who you can learn from, so others will follow. Leaders do not hesitate, they make sound decisions quickly. Leaders do things that others are afraid to do. Leaders are looked on as fearless. Leaders take chances and risks that others are not willing to take with the knowledge that change does not come from standing still but by taking action. Are you a leader? If you want to become one, let's discuss some action you need to get you there.

Gratitude

Do you walk by a homeless person? Do you not stop and help a broken car off the side of the road? Do you let a stranger's sneeze go unblessed? This is an every day occurrence in society. One thing I have realized is that people are no longer grateful. People go throughout their days and wonder why they are having a tough day or a bad day. Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you have a bad day every day and blame the world, you need to look in the mirror. Your bad days are because of you. If you do not have Gratitude in your daily life, than you are living a life of mixed emotions. You need to be grateful for what you have and recognize what you have. Just remember someone is much worse off than you. By just reading this you should be grateful that you have the means to read this ie: computer, vision, cable, money. So your life cannot be that bad.

Gratitude needs to be embraced daily and know that if you are grateful for something or someone you are not spending time on a negative thought. Show gratitude daily and show it often. What's the worst thing that could happen? You make someone smile :) Till we meet again. I am grateful that you are reading this.

Are you ready to be in control of your life?

Our journey continues with some of our words of wisdom...We are told our whole life that we need to work hard, work long hours and put our family last and we will be successful. We are programmed to take life head on and do whatever we have to do to get ahead. We are told from a young age that it does not matter who you step on or hurt, just do it to get ahead.

Sometimes in life you just need to say NO! You do not have to be a selfish person to have success. There is so much abundance out in this world that there is enough for everyone to have all the money they want, happiness, drive the nicest cars and live the American dream. There is only one thing you have to do to have all this happiness. And that is to Believe. Once you change your mindset, you can have whatever it is you want. This is what my wife and I teach people to have success in their lives. If you would like to find out more please contact us, we will be more than happy to assist you in creating the life you desire and deserve.

Back from Hyannis

Our life of journey it is always an experience. While we do business anywhere in the world is the best part of our life. From our first post you can see we started on a journey. We had a great time in Hyannis, MA what a beautiful area. The weather even worked out for us, for the most part. The food there was incredible and of course the lobster and chowdah was delicious!

My wife and I love our life and want you to enjoy yours as much as we do. We will share our life here but we will also tell you how you can have the same life we enjoy. We will share how we run a succesful home based business anywhere in the world and if you would like to learn our Secret you can contact us on how to do that.

So far this year we have been to Hawaii, New Hampshire, Cape Cod, Jersey Shore, and Mexico.

Today is our 1st Post

Today we are on our way down to Cape Cod for the weekend to enjoy our life and not worry about the small things. WE travel all over the world for our enjoyment so we can relax and not worry about the hustle and bustle of what everyone else worries about. So this weekend the 2 of us will be together hamming it up in beautiful Cape Cod. We try to make every weekend a 4 or 5 day weekend, because that is how we enjoy our life. No one to report to and no one to say no to us.

We will be doing a daily blog to teach principals of a better healthy life.
