Inaugeration = Change... we will see

Well January 20th has come and gone and it was a spectacular site to see our 1st Black President become our leader and Commander in Chief. The changes that will occur will seem to happen fast but other changes that the American public are looking for will seem to lag. Our economy that is in shambles, corporate downsizing and outsourcing will not change anytime soon. A President and his new cabinet will not have any near term affect on peoples employment. Remember, the best way to earn the money you want is to either work 60-80 hours per week or join our system where we work our business 15-20 hours per week from where ever in the world we want. Not So Happy Holiday? Why Not?

500,000 people lost their jobs last month. 2,000,000 lost their jobs since last year. The auto industry is looking at closing plants, Bank of America laid off 5,000 people recently, the mortgage industry is still a mess. So, is it safe to say Happy Holidays to people you do not know. I was saying good bye to some one the other day and said Happy Holidays and the person I said it to No, its not so happy holidays due to what is going on around the world. Well, I have to disagree a year ago I was in Iraq for the holidays, this year I am home and safe and sound. I think it was a wonderful Holiday. People who are down and out about what is out of there control are absorbed in matters that they cannot control. Life happens and other situations occur daily, get upset with the things you control and let everything else just happen.

We Are Back...

Well, after a long break from the reality of loving and enjoying life we are back to our "normal" lives. We had a nice 2 week break where we just spent time with each other and our families and friends. Every year the holidays bring us lots of joy and to be able to spend it with our families makes us even more happy. After missing the holidays last year with my deployment to Iraq, this year was extra special to my family and me. First, we spent the start of the holidays with my family for 4 days up until Christmas Day and then we spent 4 days with Val's family starting on Christmas. We went into NYC for the day and saw the holiday themed windows at Macy's, Saks and Lord and Taylor. Then we we went to Rockefeller Center and saw the beautiful Christmas tree and displays there. We took a few days and went skiing in MA and up in VT a few times as well. It was great to get out every day and still be able to work our business, whether we were traveling or skiing we made money. We have decided that 2009 is going to be even better than 2008! It can be for YOU TOO, so contact us if you want to make 2009 your best year EVER!
